Charlie Sheen has told friends that he wants to leave “Two and a Half Men,’’ the hit CBS comedy in which he’s starred for seven years, according to a person close to the actor. CBS had no comment, and a call to Sheen’s representatives was not returned. “Two and a Half Men,’’ which also stars Jon Cryer, is the top-rated comedy on TV. Last year CBS gave the show a three-year renewal, through the 2011-12 season, but Sheen’s contract is up at the end of the current season. Sheen, 44, is grappling with legal problems arising from a fight with his wife in Aspen, Colo., last December. He is charged with assault, criminal mischief, and menacing, and faces a trial in July. He entered a rehab facility for undisclosed treatment in February, temporarily forcing “Two and a Half Men’’ to halt production.
The “Two and a Half Men,” which has lately been down one man, will be back in production with full staffing next week. A publicist for Charlie Sheen told The Hollywood Reporter that Mr. Sheen would return to the show on Tuesday after he leaves an unidentified rehabilitation center and appears Monday in an Aspen, Colo., court to face domestic abuse charges. Mr. Sheen was charged with felony menacing after a dispute with his wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas.
Jake Harper is the son of Alan Harper. He lives with his uncle Charlie in his Malibu beach-house.
While Jake is a relatively nice young man, he is very lazy and unmotivated. He gets very low grades and spends most of his time eating food, or ‘processing’ it.
Jake does have some hobbies, he is a very good cook – although he’s less good at not burning down the kitchen. He also plays the guitar. Despite these hobbies, he has started many expensive hobbies only to get bored and give-up, much to the chagrin of Alan, who must pay for the hobbies under the terms of his child support agreement.
Charlie Harper is a jingle writer living in Malibu, California. He is the #1 bachelor in California. His life is the life, he drives a Mercedes, lives in a Malibu beach house, drinks as much as he wants (which is a lot), smokes cigars and has his way with as many women as he wants (again, a lot).
Charlie’s childhood wasn’t easy, a fact he never tires of reminding his mother of. His mother was expecting a girl because the echo didn’t show any signs of a penis. After Charlie’s father died, he had 3 step-fathers. The first two, a “little tyrant” who left his mother for a younger woman & a twitchy gay man from Texas, were not liked by Charlie. His mother’s fourth husband was liked by Charlie, because he had a “grateful daughter”.
As a child Charlie was ashamed of his younger brother Alan and, on Alan’s first school day, Charlie told everyone at school that Alan was his shaved monkey (he did this because he always wanted a shaved monkey). As a teenager Charlie drank a lot and constantly ran away.
Charlie has had many, many, relationships with woman, some of which were nothing more than transactions (which reminds us, are hooker calls deductible?). Most of Charlie’s relationships don’t last more than a single night.
Alan Harper is a chiropractor in Malibu who, after being divorced by his Judith, now lives with his bachelor brother Charlie in his Malibu beach-house. Alan is a shy person, especially compared to his brother, and his little luck with the ladies.
His life is generally him being humiliated by his ex-wife Judith, his mother Evelyn, his brother Charlie, his brother’s maid Berta and his son Jake.
Alan’s sexuality has been debated many times, while he is certainly a confirmed-heterosexual he has himself considered that he might be gay and that might be the reason for his lack of success with women. In the end, he wasn’t gay just bad with women.
The lawyer for Jon Cryer’s ex-wife filed legal documents today discussing the alleged plot to kill Cryer and another man.
Sarah Trigger, through her lawyer Vicki Greene, is responding to a TMZ story that Trigger asked her then-boyfriend, Eddie Sanchez, to kill Cryer and her estranged husband David Dickey.
Trigger’s lawyer denies there was any such hit engineered by her client, and is suspicious of Dickey’s relationship with Sanchez.
According to legal papers, Dickey alleged there was a plan in May, 2009 for Trigger and Sanchez to “flee to Mexico with both of their sons.”
Trigger says there was never such a plan. As for Dickey’s claim that Sanchez told him it was Trigger who asked him to kill both Cryer and Dickey — Trigger says the court should be suspicious because of how close Sanchez was to Dickey.

Seems like TV show Two and a Half Men is jinxed.
First there was Charlie Sheen’s public Christmas Day stoush with his wife Brooke and now co-star Jon Cryer’s alleged his ex-wife has hired a hitman to take him out following a bitter custody battle.
Cryer alerted authorities last Friday and sources told TMZ.com the Federal Bureau of Investigation has been investigating for the past week and are taking his claims seriously.
The 44-year-old US star and his ex-wife Sarah Trigger have been embroiled in a bitter custody fight over their son, Charlie Austin, which has become increasingly intense recently.
Cryer also has a daughter, Daisy, with current wife Lisa Joyner.
The actor has since said the threat has abated and he feels more secure.

The final season of the Disney Channel Original Series “Hannah Montana” has begun filming for it’s fourth and final season and guest star Jon Cryer was just announced.
Jon will be on the show to play Emily Osment’s (Lilly) character’s father. Lilly moves in with Miley Cyrus after her mom accepts a job in Atlanta, but hears Miley complaining behind her back about the living situation and decides to move in with her dad (Jon). But Emily finds out that living with her dad is a bit more hectic than living with Miley!
The episode, titled “The Wheel Near My Bed (Keeps On Turnin’)” will premiere on Sunday, February 21st at 8PM ET/PT on the Disney Channel.
U.S. authorities have opened an official investigation into death threats allegedly made against actor Jon Cryer, according to a new report.
Cryer is said to have turned to law enforcement last Friday, when a menacing phone call to the set of his sitcom “Two and a Half Men” left him fearing for his life.
Producers canceled plans to tape in front of an audience and recruited extra security to film scenes without any fans present in the studio.
Now FBI authorities are looking into the safety threat, reports TMZ.com.
A show is scheduled to be filmed on Friday without an audience.

And no, it doesn’t involve Charlie Sheen!
This past Friday the set of Two and a Half Men was put on lock down after a threat was made against Jon Cryer.
According to those close to the show the threat was “significant” enough to pose security concerns, leaving the cast to perform to an empty audience.
Many are speculating the so called threat came from Cryer’s ex-wife Sarah Trigger. You know, the one who was arrested for neglecting her son last year?
But the crazy’s lawyer said “There’s no reason in the world why Sarah would do anything like that.”
Suuuure.
Hey, if Charlie and Brooke Mueller don’t work things out, he and Sarah Trigger would be a match made in violent heaven!
