Cryer settles child support battle

Jon Cryer has settled a bitter legal battle over child support payments with his ex-wife Sarah Trigger.

Jon has primary custody of their nine-year-old son Charlie and filed court papers requesting a judge to dismiss his monthly support costs of $8,000 (£5,335).

The former couple attended a hearing in a California court on Monday, when the case was settled.

The details of the outcome have been sealed by the presiding judge and therefore not released to the press, however Trigger’s lawyer tells TMZ.com, “We’re relieved it’s over.”
