Last year, critics applauded Neil Patrick Harris as host of the Emmy Awards, but when it came time for the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy to be announced, Harris had to cede the spotlight to “Two and a Half Men” star Jon Cryer.
“Congratulations Tony [Shalhoub], and congratulations Jon Cryer,” Harris said when he returned to the stage. “Can we find out where he is? Oh, he’s in the press room, of course. That’s where you go when you win.”
Harris, from the stage, asked Cryer, “It’s Neil, up here on the show. How did it feel when they called your name?”
“It felt awesome,” Cryer replied. “The words going through my head were something like, ‘In your face, Neil Patrick Harris.’”
“Shame on you. Follow up question, do you have the envelope with you? Can you just confirm that it says Jon Cryer?”

Jon Cryer has settled a bitter legal battle over child support payments with his ex-wife Sarah Trigger.
Jon has primary custody of their nine-year-old son Charlie and filed court papers requesting a judge to dismiss his monthly support costs of $8,000. The former couple attended a hearing in a California court on Monday, when the case was settled.
The details of the outcome have been sealed by the presiding judge and therefore not released to the press, however Trigger’s lawyer tells us, “We’re relieved it’s over.”
Cryer and Trigger divorced in 2004 after five years of marriage.

At the night of May 25, on ‘Two and a Half Men’ you saw Charlie, Allen and Jake for the season finale on CBS. While there have been many rumors on whether the cast will return for a new season in the fall, contracts have been signed and the three men who co-star with amazing ratings on the Monday night sitcom will return after summer is over.
The episode in that night could have given anyone an ulcer (if they were in Charlie’s shoes) and definitely worth setting the DVR . Jake becomes Charlie’s driver after Charlie has his license suspended, and to Charlie’s chagrin, Alan makes plans to attend Chelsea’s birthday party creating a lot of friction and making it understandable why the episode is named ‘This isn’t going to End well.’
The ‘Two and A Half Men’ show has celebrated 7 seasons on CBS and even though we tend to be distracted by the personal issues of Charlie Sheen, there isn’t any doubt this show is definitely a wonderful edition to the CBS Monday night lineup in the fall. Since the cast has signed new contracts, it is definite we will see them again, soon.

The chemistry between Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen has made ‘Two and a Half Men’ TV’s top rated comedy. But rumors swirl, Charlie Sheen wants out of the hit sit com, refusing to sign a new contract without a raise upwards of a million dollars per episode.
For breaking contract news, Sheen’s co-star Jon Cryer talking only to KTLA News about the future of the show. “I don’t know what is next for the show. Interesting, everyone is putting a microscope to Charlie Sheen but my understanding is Angus T Jones doesn’t have a deal either. So Angus can blow this whole thing up.”

In the “Two and a Half Men”, It’s really funny and the combination of Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer is irreplaceable! So, what will happen if Charlie decides to leave the show?!
Rumor has it that Charlie Sheen, who’s been facing many legal problems after a dispute with his wife Brooke Mueller, has filmed his final episode yesterday. A source tells PEOPLE that: “Charlie “is done” and he is telling that to all his friends but “quietly””.
Charlie did not sign a contract for the 8th season although the producers want him to but all he wants to do is just “move on.”
Charlie is currently facing domestic violence charges, after an incident with his wife on Christmas night. She called the police telling them that Charlie was drunk and he was threatening her and hitting her.
Charlie entered rehab on February 14th and is still there. He goes every night back to the rehab center after his work. He’s there as a “preventative measure.” Read the rest of this entry »

April 16, 2010, our Jon turns 45. Since his first acting role, the Charles Cummings in the 1984 movie “No Small Affair”, there is 26 years past. He was only 19 in his fist show, and now he is becoming a mature man. Best wishes to Jon and everybody who shares this special day with him.
Charlie Sheen has told friends that he wants to leave “Two and a Half Men,’’ the hit CBS comedy in which he’s starred for seven years, according to a person close to the actor. CBS had no comment, and a call to Sheen’s representatives was not returned. “Two and a Half Men,’’ which also stars Jon Cryer, is the top-rated comedy on TV. Last year CBS gave the show a three-year renewal, through the 2011-12 season, but Sheen’s contract is up at the end of the current season. Sheen, 44, is grappling with legal problems arising from a fight with his wife in Aspen, Colo., last December. He is charged with assault, criminal mischief, and menacing, and faces a trial in July. He entered a rehab facility for undisclosed treatment in February, temporarily forcing “Two and a Half Men’’ to halt production.
The “Two and a Half Men,” which has lately been down one man, will be back in production with full staffing next week. A publicist for Charlie Sheen told The Hollywood Reporter that Mr. Sheen would return to the show on Tuesday after he leaves an unidentified rehabilitation center and appears Monday in an Aspen, Colo., court to face domestic abuse charges. Mr. Sheen was charged with felony menacing after a dispute with his wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas.
